Handmade Blowback Combi Rig

These Blowback Combi Rigs are handmade and tied to order using my favourite rig components.

The blowback rig uses a rig ring mounted on the shank of the hook. This allows the bait to sit further down the hook, making the point heavy and improving hooking potential. You can use this rig on any lakebed by adjusting the hooklink length.

This rig works with pop-ups, bottom baits, or snowman setups. A personal tip: adding a piece of fake corn to your boilie can attract more carp.

Premium Materials

Curve Shank Hooks
Curve shank hooks are widely used in carp fishing. Their curved design provides aggressive hook positioning and excellent hook hold. Made from high-carbon steel, they are strong and durable. Double PTFE coating ensures smooth hook penetration. Available in sizes 4, 6, 8, and 10, in Barbless or Micro Barbed options.

IQ2 Extra Soft Fluorocarbon
IQ2 is a softer version of Korda’s IQ. It gives free movement to even light hookbaits. It is nearly invisible in water, making the rig harder for carp to detect.

Korda N-Trap Soft (20lb)
This hooklink reflects no light and lays naturally on the lakebed. Available in Gravel Brown, Weedy Green, and Silt to match your fishing conditions.

Rig Ring
3.1mm mini rings with a matt black, non-reflective coating. These allow natural bait movement while preventing spooked carp.

Shrink Tubing
Shrink tubing creates a neat presentation. It also allows for aggressive hook angles, improving hook-up rates. Available in brown, green, and black to match your setup.
