These Lead-Free Chod Leaders are handmade and spliced to order using our favourite leader components. Have your choice of colour, length and the lead mount! These are perfect for matching with most of our Chod Rigs!

Materials

Lead-Free Leader

This Lead-Free Leader has a 45lb breaking strain and sinks like a brick. A good leader will also aid in fish care, helping prevent damage to the scales of turning/rolling fish when playing them into the net!

Chod Safety System

This Safety Chod System allows you to fish Chods on Leaders with complete fish safety in mind. In the unfortunate event of a break off the 3 part safety system will make sure the hooked fish is not trailing a leader around with it and removes any chance of the fish becoming tethered

Lead Mount

Multiclip – These quick change multiclips have a matt black anti glare coating to help prevent spooking wary carp. These multiclips are used with the lead to allow for it to be changed quickly and as and when needed

Helisafe – These helisafes are great for when you are fishing in weedy or snaggy waters. This is because they allow the lead to be ejected from the leader which makes landing fish alot easier. If you prefer not to drop the lead then a locking collar can be inserted to prevent it from dropping the lead!
