These Standard Pop Up Combi Rigs are handmade and tied to order using my favourite rig components. I have modified and perfected this rig through my own fishing to deliver the best standard pop up rig available.

This rig is ideal if you don’t want to spend time marker fishing at the start of your session. Whether due to lack of time, casting to showing fish, or avoiding disturbance, this rig fishes effectively ‘blind’.

The hookbait sits raised off the lakebed, giving it excellent visibility and attraction. It is also perfect over bait spreads, allowing your hookbait to stand out naturally.

Curve Shank Hooks

IQ2 Extra Soft Fluorocarbon
IQ2 is a softer version of Korda’s legendary IQ. Its softness gives free movement to light hookbaits. IQ2 is almost invisible underwater, making the rig hard for carp to detect.

Korda N-Trap Soft (20lb)
This hooklink reflects no light and lays naturally on the lakebed, offering perfect presentation. Available in Gravel Brown, Weedy Green, and Silt. Match the colour to your lakebed for maximum camouflage.

Shrink Tubing
Shrink tubing creates a neat, professional presentation. It can also produce aggressive hook angles to improve hooking efficiency. Available in brown, green, and black.

No4 Shots
No4 shots weigh down the hookbait to make it critically balanced. Test your bait and add putty if needed to achieve optimal presentation.
