Cally’s Carpy Customs Hooks

To begin with, every rig is tied using high carbon steel hooks for maximum strength and durability. In addition, each hook is double PTFE (Teflon) coated, giving it a smooth, low-friction finish for faster hook penetration and more secure holds.

Korda N-Trap Soft 20lb Hooklink

Furthermore, the hooklink material used is Korda N-Trap Soft 20lb, a trusted favourite among carp anglers. Since it reflects no light, it remains practically invisible underwater. Moreover, its soft and supple nature allows it to follow the contours of the lakebed, ensuring perfect rig presentation in any situation.

Hookbait Mount Options

• Bait Screw (12mm): The anti-glare finish ensures discreet presentation while allowing for fast, easy bait changes. As a result, your chosen hookbait moves naturally and looks highly convincing underwater.

• Micro Ring Swivel: Extremely versatile and allowing full 360° movement, this swivel is ideal not only for the Turbo German Rig, but also for Chod, 360, Stiff, and Combi rigs. It can even be used for connecting different hooklink materials when building combi setups.

Shrink Tubing for Enhanced Hooking Potential

Shrink tubing is used to tidy the rig and improve its hooking angle. Because it can be shaped during steaming, it allows you to create aggressive angles that enhance your rig’s overall effectiveness.

Hook Beads
